It has been 40 years since the birth of the world’s first test baby. We have come a long way – 6 million babies have been conceived worldwide since then through assisted techniques. However, the IVF success rate is still low, between only 20-40%.

The procedures undertaken by the IVF laboratory with an emphasis on current trends, weak points and advances will be discussed
